Mother to the rescue

piratemag22.gifThe pirate story takes another turn as the heroine's mother poses atop Turtle Rock with two glue guns, symbols of her artistic solution to the "problem" of the crack in the rock.

The story, "The Pirates of Turtle Rock," by Richard Jennings, will continue in serial form in The Kansas City Star's weekly magazine through the summer....although the ending is  not by any means certain. – lec
