The story's end
"The Pirates of Turtle Rock" serial nears its end. Jenny survives the shipwreck and the breezes take her to a small island, where she is ultimately rescued by a passing cruise ship.
My time with the series appears to come to an end as she nears the island. Richard Jennings' story has a great many visual possibilities as well as a lot of scope for the imagination. My understanding is that "The Pirates of Turtle Rock" will appear in book form soon. It's been a challenging partnership over these months, and I look forward to more like it. – lec

Restoration aboard ship
The turtle totem nears completion in the makeshift restoration laboratory aboard the pirate ship. It couldn't have happened without Jenny's mother's glue gun.

Another treasure
A treasure of a different kind, a family heirloom, has found its way into the young pirate's treasure trove — a clunky piece of jewelry that holds a lock of hair inside. Unfortunately, he has forgotten where he stole it from. The story is from Richard Jennings' "The Pirates of Turtle Rock," but you know that by now. — lec
