The story's end

pirate_mag38.gif"The Pirates of Turtle Rock"  serial nears its end. Jenny survives the shipwreck and the breezes take her to a small island, where she is ultimately rescued by a passing cruise ship.

My time with the series appears to come to an end as she nears the island. Richard Jennings' story has a great many visual possibilities as well as a lot of scope for the imagination. My understanding is that "The Pirates of Turtle Rock" will appear in book form soon. It's been a challenging partnership over these months, and I look forward to more like it. – lec

Restoration aboard ship

At the turtle sanctuary

PiratesTurtleRock35.gifOne of the loggerhead turtles finds a friend at the preserve. The young man may be important as the story unfolds, but only the author knows that now. – lec

Another treasure

PirateMag34.gifA treasure of a different kind, a family heirloom,  has found its way into the young pirate's treasure trove — a clunky piece of jewelry that holds a lock of hair inside. Unfortunately, he has forgotten where he stole it from. The story is from Richard Jennings' "The Pirates of Turtle Rock," but you know that by now. — lec
